Are you excited yet?! Cyber Monday is only 9 days away! Hopefully we’ve given you some great ideas this week, and you’ve come up with an awesome marketing strategy to sell more wine on Cyber Monday!

But, now that you have your Cyber Monday deals ready to go, it’s important to take some time to prepare for the big day. There are a few things you need to do now, to make sure you’re set up for success.

Fine Tune Your Website

Offering an awesome deal will definitely help you sell more wine on Cyber Monday, but there are a few things you should do to help you convert more shoppers into buyers. Take a look at your website and make some adjustments to the following, if necessary:

1. Product Images

First, every product needs to have a high-quality image. Make sure that they’re consistent in size, style and format to give your site a cohesive (and professional!) look. Also, people will be more likely to buy a product if they have a good sense for what they’re buying—and visuals help!

2. Product Descriptions

Take a minute to read every product description on your site, and ask yourself a few questions. Is it thorough and detailed? Does it explain exactly what the item is? Is it compelling enough to make someone want to purchase it? Spending a little bit of time to fine-tune your product descriptions will pay off in the end. 3. Calls to Action

The best thing you can do to convert more shoppers into buyers is to ask for their business. Make sure that every page of your website includes a call to action. “Buy here”, “Add to cart”, “Shop Now” are all really basic but effective. Make sure your customers know exactly what to do when they see something on your website that they want to buy.

4. Collect Customer Information

The huge influx of website traffic on Cyber Monday is a fantastic opportunity to help build your database. Make sure that there’s a place on your website where you can collect visitor’s email address so that you can send them marketing messages in the future. Plus, this is a critical step in making your Abandoned Cart Recovery effective.

All of these tips can be executed from within your vinSUITE dashboard, and are super easy to execute. If you need a refresher, you can check out this help article and skip to the “Wine Details” section.
